Shannon Eakins is an artist and educator whose practice is deeply engaged in materiality. She recenly had a Rockland Woods Residency. Eakins will share her ongoing relationship with the emotional and tactile connectivity found through working with clay. Participants will find their own uniquely personal intersection of tactile feeling and emotional feeling as they play with clay, making a “kiln god” figure.
