Ode - K’an

Ode - K’an is an evening length immersive dance performance created and designed for an intimate audience at Mini Mart City Park. This installation of works by local movement and other media artists investigates themes of water, depths, navigation through darkness, sincerity, and resoluteness.

The featured artists in this project are Abdiel, Cypher Queenz, Dani Blackwell, Hannah Simmons and Alethea Alexander, Lucie Baker and Connor Walden, Maia Melene Durfee, Nahaan, and Undercurrent. Together, we look at our relationships to water, winter, plunging inward, and light contained in restriction and create an experience of our literal, figurative, and conceptual waterways through dance, movement, and mixed media performance.
